Company Overview
Yippy, Inc, www.yippy.com, (OTCBB: YIPI) develops and integrates technologies and relationships for Internet-based applications and services in the cloud computing space. Based in Fort Myers, Florida, the company is a new technology, vertically integrated cloud computing business focusing on the cloud software and applications, media advertising, and hardware consulting and support. Included within these businesses are client software, applications software, cloud services software, content management software, advertising management and relationship software, content development and distribution, and client hardware including IT consulting, service and support for the local community and local businesses.
Yippy, Inc, is committed to delivering a friendly internet experience to both the family/youth and business to business markets with Web based applications and services. As a result, products, services and infrastructure that support this capability are critical to the Company. As a new technology, cloud computing based business. Yippy is focused on delivering software solutions that enable a safe Internet search capability that is then contained within a dashboard that then serves as an applications launch and Website aggregation environment. There are six key elements to the Yippy software solution incliuding Internet Search, Internet Browser, Web based applications, Internet Storage, an Advertising Engine, and fully capable Audio/Video Media Engine. The company is built on the premise that computer applications, document and content management, commercial engagement, communications, collaboration, and sources of entertainment for individuals, families, and business will all migrate to World Wide Web. The management of the Company believes that this will occur rapidly over the next two to three years. Driving markets of the shift will be government, education, and family markets.
Yippy, Inc, is delivering cloud computing services to two primary markets which include the nation’s youth at home and in the classroom and small-and-medium businesses that are seeking to reduce costs and improve efficiencies with cloud computing solutions.
Founded by Richard Granville in October 2009, Yippy raised the bar dramatically in the web-based applications services market with the consumer release of Yippy, www.yippy.com.
Yippy.com is Kid-Friendly
According to the U.S. Census, there are approximately 60 million children under the age of 15 living in the United States. Many of these children look to the Internet for helpful information and wholesome entertainment but end up stumbling across inappropriate content. Yippy invites you to take a look at the recently released Yippy.com, the world’s first family friendly cloud computing portal, that provides a controlled digital “sandbox” which allows kids to safely surf the web, engage in individual or group video-chat, e-mail, play games, listen to music, and watch videos with other kids. Completely free of charge, Yippy, www.yippy.com provides children with a safe and controlled “cloud” environment where minors will not inadvertently or purposefully access adult content. The company’s Internet-based applications include games, videos, audio/music, movies, chat, news, productivity tools (email, calendar, documents, and collaboration), multi-person video conferencing, Voice-Over-Internet Protocol (VoIP), search engine, and social networking tools that are all free from the unseemly elements of the Internet and completely secure.
“As a nation, we're paying a steep cost for unlimited, uncensored access to the Internet with its contribution to the deterioration of family values and diminished employee productivity,” says Richard Granville, the Fort Myers-based CEO of Yippy Inc. “We must stop the theft of a child’s innocence which is subject to untoward influence from web searches on unregulated search engines.” Granville, age 41, is putting his money where his mouth is, having invested over $8M of his assets, along with friends and family, into the creation of this new operating system which he hopes will become the new Internet gold standard in cloud computing.
According to the US Census, the youth population is roughly 80 million individuals. There are approximately 60 million children under the age of 15 living in the United States. Our goal is to attract and secure at least 10- 20% of this population to a Yippy-based cloud platform within three years. This will translate to approximately 12–to-16 million loyal users that will grow to be adults with affinity to our brands. We believe this is how a new dynasty company is formed.
The Company believes that by attracting the children, an appealing path is also forged for the parents. While the platform is currently skinned with graphics for the youth market, we believe parents will also use it as well. Having a “safe” computing experience for all will be a huge advantage for the Company in the near and long term. Graphics-packs will be made available for all age groups:
• Youth (12 and under) • Teen (Ages 13-17) • Adult (18 and over) • Family Entertainment • Business to Business
Each user can customize their application services environment with their desired look and feel; appropriate to their age group. Content within each group will always be age appropriate. Content that is not appropriate for family and/or business values will be actively screened to ensure core values of a safe and wholesome computing, communications, and entertainment experience. For kids and teens, parents will have complete control over the content and information to which their children are exposed. Yippy is the only software environment of its kind to openly and aggressively provide these types of content-safe options.
"Yippy is one of the first end-to-end internet computing solutions to market with the family in mind from inception," adds Granville. "Yippy is providing parents with free, easy-to-use software which ensures that children have a safer, more productive Internet experience filled with entertainment and good times."
Highlights of the Yippy.com Software and Portal:
• Yippy Search -The Company recently completed the acquisition of the Clusty meta-search property from Vivisimo, Inc. Clusty is a unique meta-search engine that is already being tightly integrated into the Yippy software framework thus allowing the Company to control the search activities of its users. In this way, the company is able to ensure that the Web sites accessed by the users are continually screened enabling us to deliver on our promise of a safe, secure, family and business friendly Internet experience.
• Yippy Web Browser - The browser blocks millions of undesirable websites while simultaneously vetting millions of other websites in order to release Yippy-approved sites daily.
• Yippy.com Email Address – Tools are made available that allow users to actively manage their email to keep their system clear of unwanted traffic. Unless a user selects to keep all emails, purge tools are available to make room for only desired emails. This storage reduction helps the company reduce costs by purging spam and unneeded email in the network which in turn reduce power requirements thus vastly improving the company’s overall energy footprint.
• Free Online Storage – Yippy users can save pictures, movies and documents – with up to 5 gigabytes in storage capacity.
• Video Chat – Yippy “yappers” can have face to face calls with loved ones and friends ensuring the whole family will enjoy the application.
• Yippy Video Player – This proprietary, feature-rich Yippy video player features programs from trusted media partners. Yippy’s growing library of family-friendly content provides ideal communal viewing for the family room flat screen television.
• Games – Yippy’s collection of old-school classics will soon expand to include lots of great new games over the coming weeks.
• Radio – The family can listen to the Yippy radio station which offers a wide variety of musical genres popular for the whole family.
• News – There’s local, national and international news focusing on sports, music, technology and a lot more – all appropriate reading for the under 18 community.
• Customization – Yippy gives the user customization choices and many other features such as office suite, widgets and other useful applications throughout the program with many new features and applications added daily.
“Yippy is the first end-to-end computing solution to market with the child in mind from inception,” says Rick Lisa, President of Yippy, Inc.“Yippy is providing parents with free, easy-to-use software which ensures that children have a safer, more productive Internet experience filled with entertainment and good times.”
“I anticipate that the availability of Yippy software will result in a collective deep sigh of appreciation from parents everywhere,” says Richard Granville, CEO of Yippy, Inc.“It is time to stop the theft of a child’s innocence which is subject to untoward influence from web searches on under-regulated search engines.
Why is Yippy.com Cool?
Yippy.com combines contextual information in a cloud service that tailors Internet content to the preferences and needs of each user. Yippy is designed to be an online media store with one-touch access to video, games, news, movies, social networking, streaming radio, shopping, office applications, multi-person (up to four people) videoconferencing and IM/chat (up to 10 people in a single room). While it vastly simplifies the Web-surfing experience of the average consumer, its user interface is also built to be usable by preteen children. Yippy is unabashedly focused on providing a worry-free family Web experience based on a combination of parental proxy controls (that are currently company controlled), trusted content partners and strict enforcement of a government-registered restriction list. The user gets free access to basic Yippy content and 2GB of storage. While basic offerings will be free (supported by advertising), premium-priced applications, such as 12-person videoconferencing, 400-person IM/chat and additional storage will also be available. Yippy launched commercially on 20 March as version 0.9, and will release version 1 of its software with access to subscription-based premium services in mid-2010.
Yippy is deployed in a Web-based application services environment that functions like a virtual computer. While the Yippy application was developed with mobility in mind, Yippy's goal is to allow users to access their personalized Yippy environment from anywhere, anytime and from essentially all the leading Internet devices. Yippy's thin client and website architecture promises to turn PDAs, notebooks or desktops into the fastest-in-class Internet access devices. By the end of 2010, Flash-enabled smartphones with x86 processors or ARM13 products will also get a Yippy interface.
The cloud-based Yippy Web services model discussed here has three revenue streams: premium content subscription, advertising and Multiprotocol Label Switching access/VPN services. Revenue will come from ad agencies and local marketers for demographically, geographically and contextually targeted advertising, based on user-supplied registration data and aggregated dynamic transaction information.
Search is a Critical Piece of the New Yippy Model
The Company recently completed the acquisition of the Clusty meta-search property from Vivisimo, Inc. Of greatest value to the Company is the fact that Clusty boasts over 120,000 regular monthly users as reported on quantcast.com. With this user frequency the Company will be able to quickly attract advertisers that will fuel the main revenue engines of the company.
Advertising Revenue
The user base delivered through our acquisition of Clusty are significant because Yippy is an extremely strong advertising vehicle. Recurring revenue is generated by unobtrusive ad programs that are strategically placed in the platform driven locally on the device. These advertising impressions are demographically and geographically quantified by the user’s registration and extremely valuable to the bottom-line. Advertising can be delivered via geo-location or targeted to particular demographics according to the section of the site visited. Time-on-site statistics are also significantly higher on the Yippy platform due to the inherent enticement provided by the Application Service Environment.
Mobile Computing
The Yippy was designed from the ground up with your mobile device in mind. Given the features available, and our anticipation that it will be one of the fastest applications services environment on a wireless wide area network (whether 3G, 4G or WiMax/Bro), the management believes that the net book market slated to produce 150 million units globally this year, will be a tremendous sweet spot for Yippy to gain market share.
Application Service Environment (ASE) Computing
Recently, the Company completed the acquisition of Yippy, Inc. which is the genesis and the core of the company. The software is a revolutionary solution that enables an advanced Application Service Environment (“ASE”) that the Company branded “Yippy.” This ASE serves as the primary face of the company to users and clients for all applications and services that the Company will make available. Yippy is foremost one of the earliest fully-functioning virtual desktops and application management platform. Over a cloud-based network, Yippy can turn any computer into a client that will access the applications enabled through the interface. It offers one-stop shopping for the web computing needs of the average consumer. It is an all-inclusive media environment incorporating video, gaming, news, movies, social networking, streaming radio, office applications, shopping, and much more - on one of the most efficient custom Internet client interfaces available today. Yippy will derive revenue from the Yippy software by selling premium subscriptions for advanced applications and content features that will not be available in the basic subscription.
The Media division will engage opportunities to enable aggregation and assimilation of appropriate content through the Yippy ASE. We will give trusted partners access to the ASE through a custom Graphical User Interface (“GUI”) linked to monetization through the platform.
By offering our solution to others, we will create channels of content for all audience types and drive potential customers to advertising. As far as Yippy top line revenue is concerned, advertising is the most profitable revenue vehicle for the business. The Yippy ASE portal delivers “in theme” impressions due to the key words associated with each web address or search query. The program has the ability to deliver ads to specific geographic areas and user groups using informational and demographic settings. These settings can be customized to fit the needs of any given application, content type, or advertiser. Since the ASE is Icon based in current format, this allows for direct quantified impressions. The results of which should garner high CPMs and inventory.
The ASE also allows the Company to tie in multiple E-commerce affiliations and effectively aggregate their program and features. The Icon platform allows for those who have e-commerce portals to pay for their “Icon” to be listed on the platform. Online shops now have a direct impression through the Icons and can choose which best fits their business. Yippy can direct a selected audience to the online or traditional sale and drive top line revenue with current customers in addition to new customer/business development.
News and the indexing of these resources is a top priority for the company. Yippy has taken the market specific approach to its content dissemination. Based on these market specific demographics we believe our customer will have strong interest in our content management and aggregation methods. The indexing of news sources and organizations will certainly create a dedicated and loyal clientele to our platform. The company is working closely with other related news and statistical information sites and feel by the end of 2Q 2010 it will have more than 300 such affiliations. The company also believes that should Yippy engage a focused set of user groups and organizations that the services and products offered through our client desktop will become viral within those specific constituencies. News will play a big role in this initiative. Engaging news organizations for content distribution for our users will only grow the depth of the business.
Corporate Strategy
In addition to the family/youth market, Yippy perceives that many businesses desire the same content management, value systems and structure that the family requires of their Internet service and applications support. Given the economic situation coupled with the pace of business, employers need to extract every ounce of productivity from their workers. Systems environments need to be created that provide employees with the tools they need, when they need them, without the distraction of non-work related content. Business owners, like parents, need the ability to place controls on applications and workplace-appropriate content.
They also need the ability to host their entire business in a secure and accessible environment. Yippy’s business solution which is branded, “Circuit Red,” ties all the clients’ current solutions such as payroll, H/R, forms, inventory control and communications, etc., into a customized front-end that unifies applications access for each business. These programs allow the business owner to engage their employees through audio and video services, traditional email and chat, as well as review their online activities in real time and track employee locations through GPS-enabled devices. “Circuit Red” which is ready for launch in 2010, represents a quantum leap forward at a cost that we believe every business can afford.
Yippy’s fundamental business strategy will be to further develop its products and services as it gains experience with its clients. We will be evolving the suite of services across all business units in terms of:
• Protected search • Advertising and promotional campaigns for content • Premium online applications and content that compels subscriptions • Customer loyalty campaigns • A programmer’s/developer’s community • Content development in terms of broadcast, licensed, and produced materials • User group advocacy in target markets • Collocation and hosting services • IT and networking consulting services • Developing relationships for client hardware platforms in unique vertical markets
It is the company's intention to place Yippy content distribution sites in at least several strategic market areas that will placed to ensure the most rapid response time to major population centers across the US and Canada. With these content distribution nodes established in each region of the country, the company can then “franchise “ the Yippy business model and immediately turn on the revenue resources of the business in each region. The company's contract with Level-3 will provide them with the network on-ramp to deliver these services and build these delivery nodes nationally at very low cost to the company.
The company completed a 3-year renewable evergreen agreement with Internet access provider Level-3; a NASDAQ traded company. This agreement provides Yippy with one of the most competitive Internet access rates ever given to a company, and places Yippy’s Internet access costs below many national carriers for like and kind services. This contract establishes the Company as a highly competitive Regional Service Provider (RSP) for Internet service, telephone and business class data offerings, and enables Yippy to compete head-to-head with substantially larger Internet service providers (ISP’s) and Regional Bell Operating companies (RBOC’s). This agreement also assures Yippy access to a nationwide fiber network which will greatly enhance the company’s ability in succeeding with its goal of providing world-class, cloud-based Internet service to its target markets.

Recent YIPI News:
June 11 - Yippy Ranked Top Search Engine by About.com's Guide to Internet for Beginners
Yippy, Inc. (OTCBB: YIPI) today announces that the Yippy search engine has been ranked a leading search engine of 2010 by Paul H. Gil, the About.com Guide to Internet for Beginners.
"Most of us don't want 420 search engines, especially those folks who are Internet beginners," writes Gil in his article filed on June 6th 2010. "Most people want a single search engine that delivers relevant results, an easy to read interface and helpful options to broaden or tighten a search. Yippy.com, formerly known as Clusty, is a Deep Web engine that searches other search engines for you. Unlike the regular Web, which is indexed by robot spider programs, Deep Web pages are usually harder to locate by conventional search. That's where Yippy becomes very useful. If you are searching for obscure hobby interest blogs, obscure government information, tough-to-find obscure news, academic research and otherwise-obscure content, then Yippy is your tool." "Yippy does not store or save copies of your deleted emails. Yippy does not track where you surf via our browser which is available by download. Yippy does not track or record searches either."
"We are proud to be recognized by Paul Gil of About.com for our hard work in delivering a family friendly web portal," adds Granville. "By working together with Pittsburgh-based Vivisimo, Inc., we are offering the most viable option for parents by helping families maintain a higher level of suitable content delivery. The Vivisimo and Yippy teams are working overtime to deliver the best possible product for our loyal users."
