Publisher's Note:

The ONTC chart the past several weeks has been in turnaround mode and the momentum has been building in the stock. At the beginning of July it was down around $.005 and not trading much volume. Today, ONTC reached an interday high of $.012 before falling back a little and closing the day at $.0098.

If you look at the chart below you will see a definite bullish trend that is continuing on the price graph and the MACD is continuing a generally bullish trend. The price graph is continuing above both the 13 day and 50 day moving averages and while the stochastics appear to be in a declining or bearish move the last few days we think this will turn positive with rise in volume and accumulation going on plus the bullish MACD and price movement seems to remain bullish.

Take a look at ONTC today and check out their recent news. There has been a lot of positive chatter our on IHUB and we are liking what we are seeing from ONTC. Do your homework on this one quickly.

Company Overview

Onteco Corporation is focused on the investment in, and the development of, proprietary technologies that target alternative energy marketplaces domestically and globally.

Its current investment focus is within the Energy Saving Lighting Industry. As a result it acquired NexPhase Lighting, Inc., in February 2011.

Onteco Corporation believes that the proprietary technologies and intellectual property of NexPhase represent their potential for rapid entry into the domestic and global markets focused on the energy saving lighting, with the potential for immediate, sustainable revenue growth, cash flows and high return on investment.

Going forward, Onteco Corporation will continue to seek opportunities that represent rapid revenue generation and sustainable competitive advantage in areas of alternative energy generation and energy savings.

Strategic Alignment

Onteco Corporation and its subsidiary, NexPhase Lighting, Inc., (“NexPhase”) are committed to the formation of strategic partnerships and alliances primarily with acknowledged industry leaders within their respective market spaces. To date, Onteco has initiated dialogues to establish such strategic alignments with leading providers of innovative alternative energy solutions. In similar manner, NexPhase has begun to initiate strategic alignments in order to position itself as an innovative industry leader in the LED lighting industry.

An example of such a strategic partnership, as announced on March 3, 2011, is the “Ingredient Branding and Trademark License Agreement” signed between NexPhase Lighting, Inc. and Cree, Inc. Cree, Inc. (www.cree.com), headquartered in Durham, North Carolina, is a market-leading innovator of lighting-class LEDs, and will provide NexPhase with their MX-6 LEDs for use in NexPhase troffers. Cree’s MX-6 provides better color consistency and higher reliability than incumbent solutions; and the MX-6 delivers higher lumen output without having to compromise between light output and efficacy. Going forward, this agreement will allow NexPhase to display the Cree logo on its website, marketing materials and packaging, and represents an important co-branding of NexPhase product.

NexPhase Lighting provides a full product line of American made, high quality, energy saving commercial LED lighting fixtures. They specialize in commercial projects, for both new construction and retrofits. LED fixtures provide up to 50,000 hours of maintenance free lighting using about half the energy of standard lighting solutions. LED lighting provides the following additional benefits:

  • Higher quality lighting as compared to standard lighting systems
  • Reduced heat generation resulting in lower HVAC costs in warm environments
  • Eliminates the release of Mercury and other harmful chemicals into landfills at the end of the fixtures life cycle
  • Less energy to run the LED fixtures results in less green house gasses released into the atmosphere
  • With LED fixtures running for 50,000 – 60,000 hours, business owners will spend less on maintenance costs associated with the replacement of standard lamps and tubes
  • Easy installation and individual fixture programmability
  • Instant “on”
  • Vibration and shock resistant.

Technology

NexPhase Lighting uses only the highest quality products in their fixtures. This gives them the ability to provide their customers with a six year or 50,000 hour warranty on their fixtures. From the use of Cree LEDs to their attention to photo-metrics and thermal management, you get only the highest quality, most reliable products from NexPhase Lighting!

Their patent pending “NexSense” technology gives their customers an additional edge in lighting management and in their customer’s Return on Investment (ROI). Incorporated into many of their fixture designs you’ll find advanced sensory features that expand your energy savings beyond just the use of energy saving LEDs. These features include the following:

PROXIMITY SENSING – The most energy saving light fixture available is one that is not on. Building on this, the NexPhase Proximity Sensor monitors movement within a given space and either dims or shuts the lights off if no movement have been sensed within a given period of time (configurable by the user).

AMBIENT LIGHT SENSING – This sensor takes advantage of the Sun free light (energy). Once the occupant of an office sets the light level they like within their space, this sensor monitors the light level throughout the day. If more light comes into the office as the sun rises, the sensing system reduces the amount of light being given off by the fixture to ensure the light level within the space remains the same. The reverse is also true. If storm clouds move in and block the sunlight that was previously coming into the space, the sensing system increases the amount of light from the fixture (up to the maximum output).

Their fixtures can be controlled through a variety of means. Permissions and the types of controls authorized are assigned during set-up. Fixtures, or groups of fixtures can be controlled via a hand-held remote control, through any smart phone (i.e. iPhone), or via the computer.

Their fixtures are intelligent. They incorporate a MESH Networking technology which allows the fixtures to communicate with each other, wirelessly. The set-up and management of their fixtures allow from the combining of multiple fixtures into a given group… Specific offices, hallways, stairwells, conference rooms, etc.
