NuSoil
NuSoil-L(liquid), G(granular) & LC(liquid consentrate) are designed to change eroded property to productive land. Application of NewSoil organic compounds in land reclamation has no limits and can be utilized regardless of composition of the soil. The technology is adaptable to different types of soil and climate. NewSoil Land reclamation technology can convert non-productive soil to productive land by increasing the biological activity and changing the thermal conductivity, and ultimately changing the soil's capacity to retain moisture.
The NuSoil additive can be adjusted for areas where the salt content is high. SaltBlocker additive is a 100 % organic matter that limits the availability of salt cations and anions to the liquid soil, and effectively works to change the osmotic pressure within the soil composite. In the SaltBlocker process, we use specially blended biomass that is capable of binding over the hard surface of the solid particles of soil and creating a strong affinity for moisture and minerals. This special humic complex can increase the capacity of soil to retain moisture as well as reduce the osmotic pressure to the upper elevations of soil generated by the temperature differences or through evaporation. This humus layer does not reduce the total amount of salt but controls the distribution of salt between solid and liquid soil as well as controlling the osmotic pressure generated within the soil.
Beach and Land Renourishment Technology
Coastal renourishment and stabilization consists not only of sand replenishment and planting, but should include the application of a growth media that fosters the development of a dynamic living system.
Our proprietary technology has been designed to change poor quality, eroded and highly saline property into productive stable land. Our NuSoil technology can reverse these devastating environmental problems. Our basic technology was developed in 1993 and during the last 17 years has been improved into our current 2009 expanded product line. NuSoil technology is in its 5th generation of development since the introduction of the original product line in 1993, which was successfully used on the beaches surrounding Santa Rosa Island and Seagrove, FL.
Rather than constantly reacting to natures fury and beating a hasty retreat, using NuSoil products and techniques, causes the beaches to advance upon the sea and reclaim the coastal integrity of our shores.
How it Works
NuSoil beach re-nourishment and land reclamation technology converts these non-productive lands by increasing the biological activity, changing the thermal conductivity and ultimately changing the soil's capacity to retain moisture. NuSoil technology accomplishes this by forming a microscopic sticky coating around each soil particle which attracts airborne particles and nutrients carried by the wind. NuSoil technology has been proven under conditions of drought, torrential rains, and hurricanes.
Productive soil is a complex living environment consisting of solid chemicals, bacteria, biota, and water. Good soil must have the capability for heat and chemical exchange between solid and liquid phases. In the soil complex, exchange of nutrients between liquid and solid soil results in a perfect environment for nutritional transfer of the living species hosted by the complex. A viable soil must have the capability to moderate the temperature change during day and night, in such a way that the minimum and maximum temperature is less than the atmospheric changes in the region. If the differential between the day and night temperature is too high, the biological activity within the soil composite is limited.
NuSoil technology is designed to affect the heat capacity of soil, and the result of this is that soil does not get too hot or too cold. When such phenomena are present, the changes in the moisture content of the atmosphere result in condensation in the soil composite, which is another positive affect causing reduction in the temperature differential in the soil as well as increasing the biological activity. NuSoil also effectively works as an ion exchanger between liquid and solid soil. The correct exchange of ions between the liquid and solid phases of soil has a direct effect on plant growth which increases the organic content of soil.
AquaSolv
AquaSolv-L(liquid) & G(Granular) are unique formulations of Polyacrylamides (PAM's) that surpass all other co-polymer products in both performance and environmental considerations. They slow the infiltration rate of water and promotes lateral spread through the root zone. Leaching is reduced and water and nutrients are retained longer in the root zone. The products break down during normal microbial activity to biodegrade with no root uptake.
The ability of polyacrylamides to change soil hydrology has been known for some time. There has been however limited development of the technology into broad-scale agricultural production systems.
The NuEarth Corporation is a producer of polyacrylamide formulations that have opened opportunities for economic use in broadacre agricultural applications. The increasing cost of chemical based fertilisers coupled with both the shortage of and cost of irrigation water further justify the development of this technology into agricultural markets. While polyacrylamides are best known for attracting and holding moisture their use should not be limited to situations where water is in short supply. The ability of polyacrylamides to slow water percolation through soil profiles has significant implication in reducing the loss of soluble plant nutrients (particularly nitrogen) from soils as ground water leachates.
Polymers are very long carbon chains. A cross linked polymer is formed when these chains are cross-linked or hooked together by chemical bonds. Cross linked polymers are infinitely soluble in water and can hold many times their own weight in water. In contact with water cross linked polymers form a jelly like substance. The cross-linked polymers exist in a solid, crystalline state.
The crystalline formulations of cross linked polymers are biodegradable but can have a lifespan in soils of up to three years.

DustBlocker: is an Anionic Polyacrylamides (PAM's). PAM is the generic name for a group of very high molecular weight macro-molecules produced by the free-radical polymerization acrylamide and an anionically charged comonomer, mainly the sodium salt of acrylic acid, sodium acrylate. The combination of molecular weight and ionic charge results in viscous aqueous solutions, a key property of these polymers. Both charge density (ionicity) and molecular weight can be varied. Using DustBlocker will assist road managers at mine and building sites to achieve better dust management outcomes. DustBlocker is a totally ecologically safe product that will have no adverse affect on the road or the surrounding environment. It will deliver an economic benefit by achieving the desired dust management faster and with less passes of the water truck. It can be applied to any soil or pavement material and will reduce water use by up to 90% in some cases.
The combination of molecular weight and ionic charge results in viscous aqueous solutions, a key property of these polymers. Both charge density (ionicity) and molecular weight can be varied. By varying the acrylamide/anionic monomer ratio charge densities from 0 to 100% can be obtained along the polymer chain. Molecular weight is determined by type and concentration of reaction initiator and reaction parameters.
The DustBlock Anionic Polyacrylamide has no systemic toxicity to aquatic organisms or micro-organisms. The polymer is much too large to be absorbed into tissues and cells. The functional anionic groups do not interfere with the functioning of fish gills or daphnia respirators. In fact any adverse effects observed in lab tests are always seen at concentration levels over 100 mg/L and are most probably due to the resulting viscosity of the test medium.
DustBlock has no potential to bioaccumulate, being completely soluble in water (only limited by viscosity) and insoluble in octanol. The sensitivity of RoadBinder type polyacrylamides to UV light is well known and has been described in the scientific literature. Photolysis leads to the degradation of the polymer chain and the formation of much smaller molecules, or oligomers, which are accessible to microbial attack. A study by SNF-Floerger, has demonstrated that photolysis followed by aerobic or anaerobic treatment resulted in efficient mineralization of the polymer.
RoadBinder
RoadBinder is an innovative new Dry Powder Polymeric material designed to dramatically reduces the time required for the construction and maintenance of sealed and unsealed roads. Developed in Australia and manufactured in the USA, RoadBinder is supplied as a dry powder. It has been specially formulated to deliver improved results in both pavement and surface strength, while being a totally ecologically safe product.
RoadBinder acts as an enhancement to water performance. It improves the binding and compaction characteristics of water to create greater efficiencies in achieving the desired pavement compaction with less water, time and resources spent on the project.
The most interesting feature of this product is its ability to bind a broad multiplicity of granular materials. RoadBinder facilitates the inherent pavement fines and crushed stone to slip into a more tightly bound compacted pavement. The polymer base of RoadBinder works within the fine material to cause dilation and rapid densification under the compaction process.
Using RoadBinder will assist road and construction managers at mine and building sites to achieve better Road construction management controls. RoadBinder is a totally biodegradable and ecologically safe product that will have no adverse affect on the road or the surrounding environment.
It will deliver an economic benefit by achieving the desired dust control and site management faster and with less passes of the water truck. It can be applied to any soil or pavement material and will reduce water use by up to 40% in some cases. Any equipment capable of spraying water can safely be used to apply RoadBinder, without any environmental concern or damage to equipment. RoadBinder retains moisture in road surfaces longer to reduce rutting and deterioration of the road surface. It has the unique ability to be reworked into the surface, further improving its dust controlling properties. It minimizes the amount of surface damage caused by heavy traffic contributing to reducing vehicle accidents and injuries.
A Reliable and cost efficient solution to road asset management problems. Safe for use on all pavement materials. Using RoadBinder will assist road builders to achieve better results faster without making significant changes to the way they normally go about constructing roads.
RoadBinder is a totally ecologically sale product that has repeatedly demonstrated it can turn marginal material into good material and good material into excellent, and that applies to sealed as well as unsealed road construction. In the process of constructing pavement, RoadBinder will deliver an economic benefit by reducing construction time, and the unique performance characteristics of RoadBinder will deliver superior compaction for greater structural integrity.
Another remarkable RoadBinder characteristic is in the flexibility of the mixing ratios. To achieve best results (always based on specific materials) the standard is a 5000:1 dilution ratio. Other circumstances have been encountered where dilution ratios as low as 1000:1 were necessary due to residual moisture already in the pavement materials. Ultimately the mix ratio will be specific to the materials and the road specification.
