Biopack Environmental Solutions Inc. has been in the environmentally sound packaging business since 1995. Biopack uses readily renewable agricultural waste to create value-added packaging products normally made from plastic or paper. Biopack's products are 100 percent biodegradable, recyclable, sustainable and compostable.
In 2000, Biopack expanded into the food packaging markets in Europe, Asia, and the United States under the brand name "Roots Biopack." Biopack Environmental Solutions Inc. (OTCBB:BPAC.ob - News), a designer, manufacturer, and supplier of 100% biodegradable and compostable packaging products, is pleased to announce that it has signed an agreement with an expert international coatings and emulsions company (the"Company") to further expand its research and development initiatives and diversify its product applications.
Based in the U.S.A and with offices around the globe, the Company specializes in paper and film barrier functionality and helping companies to develop and innovate with new types of applications. They will specifically work with Biopack on applications for ready-made meals and baked goods.

Biopack products are made from 100 percent biodegradable and "non-genetically modified organism" materials ("Non-GMO"), which are completely free from genetically-altered materials. Specifically, Biopack's products are produced from agricultural waste (bagasse, straw, wheat stalk, reed, and bamboo). Biopack's products are made from natural, renewable materials that would otherwise be considered waste. The raw materials used leave a small environmental footprint and they regenerate very quickly and abundantly in nature. Gerald Lau - President and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Lau is the Chief Executive Officer and a director of Roots Biopack Group Limited and he is was appointed as our Chief Executive Officer and a director upon the closing of the share exchange agreement with Roots Biopack Group, which occurred on March 27, 2007.
